A question about stats. Are these brand new jobs not people returning to vacant positions? If I open a new business and hire is that a created job or are these really just folks going back to work, paying taxes and spending, (which is good regardless)

We have 9 adult grandkids and 1 soon to graduate college. The reports we get are better jobs with better pay and benefits. The parents of these adult grandkids are secure in their jobs and doing well financially, and planning for retirement. That sounds pretty good to us. And the country is going to start those infrastructure projects pretty quick that will create jobs that will pay good wages. We need those immigrants to join our workforce and pay taxes so us old geezers will get the social security retirement benefits and Medicare we need. Of course, the R’s voted against all this good stuff as they do not want to country to prosper under a D administration. Actually, it seems they don’t care about anyone prospering who is not already doing better than average. But, they are happy to take the credit for anything good.

Funny how the dems think Biden’s only responsible for the good stuff.

Fartiegal – that’s mostly because the ReThuglicans suck at doing anything at all that’s good for the average person but y’all just keep chowin’ down on the turds they dump in your Cheerios every day and y’all think that’s just swell. Can’t wait to use a spoon in each hand to chow down those turds every morning, can y’all?

Let’s see… Here’s the Turd Reich policies – Can’t tax the rich because… well, y’all never could come up with a legit reason for that. Can’t have infrastructure bills to fix roads & bridges, or parks, or anything for middle and lower income Americans because… Uh… Shucks, y’all never came up with a good reason for that one too, did y’all? Oh, then there’s that bill about investigating why the baby formula got salmonella contaminated and then Abbott raised prices… Oh yeah, y’all voted against looking into that one (oh poo, and here’s a list of those who voted against it – https://www.newsweek.com/full-list-house-republicans-voted-against-fda-baby-formula-bill-1708036).

Naw, the Turd Reich gotta cater to the rich but screw the rest of us every freakin’ step o’ the way. But shucks, just blame the side of the aisle that wants to really, actually make life better for all in the USofA. Y’all really are a bunch of two faced SOB’s that want to keep the War on the Poor going and spread it further into the middle class too. Eat those turds, cuz y’all sure have earned ’em.

The “jobs created” number is not the doing of the biden and his incompetents. This is nearly all due to the country coming out of covid. Without the largely self-inflicted job losses from extended shut-downs, etc., the “new jobs” number would be pretty meh.

I am not sure that President Biden ever “created” any jobs in his political career. He almost created a Disinformation Agency.

If it ain’t a conspiracy the RWNJ’s ain’t buying it. Can’t be true if something despicable isn’t happening. Gosh, doesn’t sound like RWNJ paranoia too much does it? The kind that’s rampant with meth and crack addicts? But that’s their plan and they’re stickin’ to it. Hook, line, and sinker.

@chmsam- Your comments and shots at the “Turd Reich” are duly noted and agreed with however, I will say one thing. Up until his presidency all of that stuff was very well hidden until he came along and brought it all out.

And also from what this cartoon depicts, all Joe needed was just a little bit of time. Because the same knuckleheads who were criticizing him should have been criticizing former Jackass #1 and his no political experience having self, for the mess that he got this country into! Most notably, him resting on his laurels and allowing this damn pandemic to almost completely immobilize this country and rearrange our lives! Also the countless lives that were lost! That should be the #1 charge against him if he’s EVER arraigned!

Still a couple million jobs shy of December 2019 – pre-pandemic. Not new jobs, just people laid off going back to work. When total jobs break records and participation rate gets back to pre-pandemic levels, that is time to celebrate. We’ll get there as that is how the economy works.
