Cloudy morning in the NEK but, it appears to be brightening up outside. (^.^) The temp was 58 when I peeked while getting the coffee going. Partly cloudy and 71 in the forecast. Meh.
Going to be a fairly normal day, my usual comings and goings. I might be alone for part of the day my nephew hasn’t made his his run for his med weed yet. (^.^)
Well, all I got to say is may God bless your day in every way.
We were up much earlier for our morning walk today, but it was still over 80. We don’t walk all that far, but we’re working up gradually to longer ones.
I got a start on Michael’s shirt yesterday and it’s about half done. My back really didn’t like leaning over the table pinning & cutting the pattern pieces so I was forced to take breaks (and ibuprofen). Today’s task is mostly straight stitching so I should have it done by tonight.
Off to prayer group this morning, then a teeny bit of shopping. I need a few doctor recommended vitamins to add to my daily regimen. Funny thing is both of the ones she recommended are vitamins I used to take and didn’t think I needed any more. (B-Complex – which also prevents fleas from biting. That’s why I was taking it before – and folic acid)
It didn’t get quite as hot on the patio yesterday, “only” 109. Today’s forecast is 107 so we’re probably looking at 110 on the patio. The humidity is a bit higher than normal (24%) but not enough to be unpleasant.
Not much happening the last couple of days. My day started at 61 degrees and it is now 81. Much better than last week when the highs were in the upper 90’s. Other than the heat, it is a very quiet day with me puttering around doing household chores.

it was only 89 yesterday, and it’s supposed to creep up to 91 later. maybe the rain they promised us will cool things down for the evening.
we watched the newest Downton Abbey last night. all the main characters were still there, and it was a great plot.
