Once again: The point of banning abortions is NOT to reduce their number. Contraceptives, sex education, access to health care and other efforts, would accomplish that.
That is NOT the objective.
The objective is to PUNISH SINNERS, women sinners, and especially poor women sinners. (of course, being poor shows that they are not in God’s graces and are therefore sinners anyway)
.
And does ANYONE, even Lester, believe that once abortions are made illegal, that they will not be available to Republican legislators?
I hope that they start funding schools now, they need to get started building them now if they want to have them ready for all of these children in just a few years. Not to mention all of the future teachers that need to start getting their degrees now.
Question: if abortion becomes a state-by-state issue covered by different laws, if a woman goes to where abortion is legal and available, what keeps the state that makes abortion illegal from detaining the returning woman and charging her with murder? For that matter, detaining any woman who has had an abortion who enters the state where it is illegal and being charged?

Griswold v. Connecticut and Eisenstadt v. Baird that stopped states from banning birth control are on the docket to be overturned for many Repubs.

Funny. I support abortion because I think life begins at birth and a woman should decide what happens to her body. AND, I’m not a misogynistic prick
