I have wondered about the phrase “Living in the Past”. You can admire parts of the Past. You can collect and dress those parts. Ignoring all the sadness, pain, and problems of the Past. But you can only live in the Now. Dream of the Future. Hope for the Future. Aim generations to come in some sort of directing for the Future. But… (as the side statement said)… I will be making Payments on the Past, Present, and most definitely the Future.
