What this really emphasizes is that it’s easier for the US government to find the money for destruction than it is to find the money to make our country function better. The message I receive is: it’s easier to agree to destroy than to agree to build. Not that this is anything new.
Whether you want to blame any particular party, institution, or just plain human nature is up to you. I believe it’s all of the above, which is why it sadly continues without restraint.
By the way, that there interstate highway system was a real stinker, wuddnit? All them airports an’ such? Clean water?
My job is to collect child support from parents who don’t pay. The IV-D program collects over $5.00 for every $1.00 spent. The Feds bear over 2/3 of the cost. The states couldn’t run such a comprehensive and effective program on their own.
Many Federal programs are far from perfect, but many others do a fine job.
Maybe if the Republicans hadn’t stonewalled him on Build Back Better, he would be able to move onto other things far easier. President Biden isn’t going to be conned into not doing anything, trying to get one thing done.

“His ‘Build Back Better’ package has been jettisoned.” Along with the likelihood of the Dems winning the White House again in 2024. Let’s go, Brandon.

Nailed it, Ted! Biden’s defense bill spends more money on "liberal crap’ than it does on the military.

Wednesday will be interesting, when we get to see how Ted spins his paymaster’s latest atrocities.
