OK, so after many hours to stew over it, here’s how I see it:
The overall picture is supposed to be an X-ray of a human limb, maybe the upper arm, maybe the thigh. Along the top we see a bunch of perfectly normal hairs growing from their follicles. But below them is one hair that is so deeply ingrown that it is entirely within the body. And furthermore, the hair is happy with its condition, hence the “la-dee-da”.
