—) Whoops! Some naive general (with the best of intentions) gave Vladimir Putin a copy of “Who Moved My Cheese” in a bad Russian translation that made the characters as rats instead of mice —
The cheese was also specified as “bryndza,” which Putin dislikes. The translator should have substituted “kishka” for cheese. Putin adores kishka, especially the type made with lots of blood!
FYI — As a child, Vladimir’s favorite song was the Frankie Yankovic recording, “Who Stole the Keeshka?”
I worked for a couple of people like that who also were unethical vain egotists. They were both fired within months after I resigned.
Since I realized I was not good at picking good employers I went on my own eventually. Everyday I had to remind myself not to be an unethical vain egotist.
