If the cheese heads are willing and the ownership is willing and able to pay him what his agent is able to negotiate then he should get that pot of gold. It’s not your tax money, except when the team wants a new stadium.

I used to like watching him play but his ego will end his career in about two years. He has proven he can’t be trusted, he is manipulative and in football parlance he has become too cautious and uptight on the field with aging.

If the owners had a better QB in reserve or could get a decent replacement by trade or draft then a lot of us would be glad to see him move on.

We the people have made sports another form of gentrification. I used to be able to go to a game without making a major investment. I used to be able to watch on TV without the expense of multiple expensive subscriptions.
