I’ve tried to be positive, but yeah, it’s wednesday and the arc seems to be going nowhere.

Sorry for no reviews in the past 2 days, was stuck somewhere. Both days I missed are a 6/10. Also, I will be going to camp, staring on Monday, for 3 days, so I will do my last review on Sunday before returning on Wednesday. And I will join CRC.

I don’t know why Nate has to clean his locker. I mean, it’s dirty, but he found an authentic Picasso painting in there. With the money he could make from the items in the locker, they could turn P.S.38 into the next Jefferson!

4/10 Filler arc about his locker. I hope that Nate actually does want to clean out his locker, or else this arc will be wasted.

How would Nate then explain what a cluttered school locker looks like? When there are rats and cockroaches emerging therefrom eating his homework that he needed to turn in for the day?

Teddy: I guess.

Dee Dee: But how have we not noticed him?

Francis: I don´t know.

Chad: Guys! Mrs.Godfrey has just been found dead!

Francis: How?

Chad: Investigations show that she was hit over the head with a big book.

(Mr.Rosa walks by.)

Francis: Mr.Rosa, is it true?

Mr.Rosa: Yes. Now get home, all schools are closed until the killer is caught.

(After school, Mr.Rosa is cleaning up)

Mysterious voice: So, Are you thirsty?

Mr.Rosa: Who are you?

(the person comes out of the shadows)

Mr.Rosa: (GASP) It´s you.

(the mysterious figure opens jars of paint and shoves them down Mr.Rosa´s throat,killing him)

Meh. Arcs kinda slow, but I think the fruit flies was a nice creative touch. This one gave me a chuckle, i give it a 7/10. Fanfic posted at 11 a.m. eastern time.

I love Lincoln pierce and all, but some times it seems like he just doesn’t like cartooning, and just wants a new career. I understand that though. Even though i don’t write books of my own, I know people can be extremely demanding to a point where the author will sometimes just quit. Those are my thoughts on the quality of the recent strips.

In Nate’s mind, “fruit” flies are healthy option to have around.

Its getting pretty weird that nate is pretty much friends with fruit flys. But other then that its not all that bad of an arc. 5.5/10

Am I the only adult who reads this strip? Judging by the comments here, I have the feeling I’m having that nightmare where I’m back in elementary school and didn’t do my homework. I like Nate! It really does take me back. . .

Big Nate: the mystery of locker 232 Part 5

Nate quickly swiped the pink piece of paper.

He pocketed it along with the key.

Running to his locker, opening it, and putting his stuff back, Nate ran to Math.

Sprinting to the stairs and sliding down the railing, Nate ran into Dee Dee. Literally.

“Dee Dee,” Nate said. “You’re just the person I’m looking for!”

“Really?” Dee Dee said, bouncing. “What’s up?”

“We found a locker with a safe in it. We found what might be the first and second numbers in the combination. Also, we have a key that we don’t know what it’s for.”

“Cool!” Dee Dee exclaimed, bouncing up and down like a frog on a trampoline.

“I found a paper, too!” She said, “But it’s a blue piece of paper.”

Hmm. Nate was thinking.

The bell Rang at that minute and Nate lost his train of thought.

Nate and Dee Dee parted ways and Nate yelled over his shoulder: “See you at lunch!”

“See you,” Dee Dee said. Nate ran to math, and inside his desk when he got there was the piece of paper Francis found.

Nate and Francis passed notes for a while about the key and numbers that might be the code.

Nate said he found the second number, and it was 19, with a little bit of the one cut off.

“That’s what it was.” Francis wrote. “But we still need the third number.”

Teddy came to class about 15 minutes late, face red, panting and out of breath.

He walked to the front of the room and handed a frustrated Mr. Staples his math homework.

While he was doing that, Nate noticed a shiny gold key in Teddy’s back pocket.
