As others have said, she’s a 15-year-old kid totally under the control of her coaches. She is a great talent and should never have been put in this position. Her coaches need to be banned, possibly the entire Russian OC. Or perhaps it’s time to dump the nationalistic aspect of the games altogether.

If she places, there is no podium ceremony and no medals awarded for months. What a joke!

Gotta love Grandpa’s medicine. Where can I get some of that?

The team shouldn’t be there in the first place. The ROC thing is a joke. A bad one.

But it backfired, didn’t it? She was so stressed out she fell 4 times and her coach was furious with her.

Raising the age of the competitors could alleviate some of these issues. It’s a tragedy for the young lady who is being used in so many ways by so many people who put their own interests first. I hope she can get through this and have some type of normalcy in her life.

Here in Florida, they call it child endangerment. Heart medication to a 15-year-old under pressure and competing, what possible could go wrong?

On the bright side, Grandpa’s medicine has helped with her benign prostate hypoplasia.

I’d like to know how any BANNED country can even be sending athletes at all,under ANY flag? Russia was banned from competition but comes back under ROC & a different flag? And that’s ok? The athletes are still being trained under/using the same exact system that was banned!!!! If it looks like a duck……..

The IOC is as much a corrupt joke as FIFA if not moreso.

The Olympics has turned into Dancing With The Stars, only with longer episodes and intervals between them, only with continuous commercials, like the billboard races (nascar).

Poorly managed by the adults. Had all the young ones crying by the end of the evening. Spoiled for everyone.

I wish they would show the judges and there scores instead of a number just popping up on the screen so the world can see how prejudice the russian judges are, ya know like the good old days
