It is a tough question. Do we and other nations join our forces to keep Russia from taking over another country? Do we do it for self preservation?

Occurs to me that this is just the Russian version of colonialism. Putin is aiming to pull back a formsr colony into the “Union”.

The Russian psyche has been shaped by hundreds of years of invasions by other nations. WWII was the final straw. Putin’s aggressiveness continues to result from him not wanting Russia to be encircled. Diplomacy is walking a very tight thin line right now. Scathing economic sanctions and/or war are the other 2 options.

His people are starving and he is playing dictator? Castro wanabee?

Invading other countries is the exclusive right of America (and with a wink wink to some friends) .. Putin needs to back off.
