I had a boss who made a point of being the last one in his group to leave every evening. I once packed up and left my desk, only to wait halfway down the stairwell until he entered it, then hurried back up, stating I had forgotten to finish something or other. Sure enough, he also turned around and went back to his desk, until I finished about twenty minutes of solitaire & minesweeper and then left. He came out to the parking lot as I was driving away.
Yeah, as a manager your responsibility is to make sure things run smoothly, even if you have to pitch in yourself. So, I imagine there are a lot of really terrible low-level management jobs during this pandemic. My hat’s off to you.

True. But the real question is he going to take off the weekend?

Time for her to modify her assistant manager contract or go back to being a store clerk to avoid this work abuse!

Does her manager ever open his eyes?
