At least the spraying faucet wasn’t that close to the toaster; that would be quite shocking.

What I want to know is why anyone would need a wrench that size for a blender?

Always go with the basics. Turn off the water where you are working at. When you turn it back on to test your work, do it slowly. Also, don’t do it when the wife and or kids are around, just in case you screw up……..

Primordial Laws of the Kitchen Husband—1. If it is supposed to “pop-up,” it won’t. 2. If it doesn’t pop-up, the only available tool is a fork. 3. For electrical fires, the only available extinguisher is water. 4. If it “blends,” it won’t. 5. If it doesn’t blend, the only available solution is to loosen the lid. 5. If the lid is loosened, gravity ceases and the contents explode all over the ceiling directly over your head. 6. Gravity returns. 7. If it “cuts,” it won’t. 8. If a knife is sharp, it is easier to drop. 9. If it drops, it will always land on its side. 10. Unless you’re barefoot.
