What a terrible place for them to be.

Obviously the frayed rope is all their fault. Trump said so.

The ropes wouldn’t be frayed if more people – a lot more people – had at least a grain of common sense and treated this pandemic for the emergency it is. If people would heed health-care experts who have had years of education and training, as well as more years of experience, instead of ignoramuses with big mouths and bigger egos, we would certainly have a considerably lower infection rate, and probably less than half the deaths we have experienced. But instead we have crybabies mewling about uncomfortable masks and “oppressive” lockdowns and mandates.

Let health care workers turn away the unvaccinated. That would take a lot of stress out of the system.

To any and all of you who are on the front lines with careers in health care, Thank you for not turning away those who are sick or injured, whoever they are, and whatever their status. Thank you for keeping the tradition of Care across the health-battleground politics has created to all our detriment. Thank you.
