May you all have a happy and safe Christmas and New Year’s (even the ones I disagree with). And may 2022 bring us through the Omicron wave and may we reach herd immunity by next holiday season. I heard that scientists at Walter Reed are going to start trials for a multi Corona vaccine that will not only target Covid (and its variants) but all other members of the Corona family (SARS, MERS, Ebola, even the Common Cold)! That, I think, is worth cheering about. It isn’t the Christmas we were expecting, but perhaps Christmas 2022 will be more like Christmas 2019 than Christmas 2020.
Nobody should be hugging. I missed the church service last Sunday but ever since we haven’t been able to do it inside there have been videos. The service last Sunday WAS inside but the spectators were in the parking lot getting rained on. And in the background two people hugged. Why would people be doing that now? And people were hugging when my family got together.
