One of the times I locked my key in my car was when I was approached by a gas station employee out of the corner of my eye (trying to get me on a grocery store rewards program) just as I was closing the door. Can there please be one place where you can do things without distractions?
There are other types of automotive distractions. Like the time I was reattaching the chrome trim strip to my car’s door and super glued my hand to the outside of the door. I had to drive home leaning halfway out the window. At least my tongue didn’t flap like a dog’s as I drove.
