I feel, Bob Dole was someone who’s policy ideas were 180 degrees from mine, but it it ever came down to it, I could have a rational discussion with him about why.
I didn’t agree with him or have any real opinion of him when younger, but I would prefer 20 of him in office compared to what is in the GOP now

Dole would be primaried quicker than Liz Cheney.
During a primary debate he admonished G H W Bush “Stop lying about my voting record!”
