Inflation was CAUSED (in part) by YOU spending that stimulus check without having to be at work. I’m reasonably sure that Bok knows stuff like this… but is being paid to ignore it.
This Inflation began when the Saudis announced last February that they were raising oil prices to make up for the 40% loss in profit due to COVID-19. Other businesses and industries have followed suit, getting while the getting was good. It’ll subside when we quit buying.
