“Law abiding” seems to be an idea that belongs to the fogies, these days. I guess. I’m not sure we CAN recover from that attitude, but if so, I’m darned sure I don’t see how.
Haven’t there always been times when “lawless folks” took advantage of the rest of us?
Sadly, there is sometimes opportunism adjacent to peaceful protests. Then there’s January 6th….
