Used to frost me when my boss would come over at about fifteen minutes before quitting time, and dump some work on me that he “needed right away” – and wanted me to stay until I finished it… then he would go home, and not be interested in seeing the results until some time the next day (usually after lunch, or later)… I wised up the second time he did that to me – when he dumped a last minute assignment on me, I was out the door at the regular time regardless.
