Well, I don’t think it’s THAT safe to travel, and with gas prices the way they are, driving there will cost almost as much as a plane ticket. With everyone one edge and cranky, travel time is not as much fun, either.
Fly to where? Most countries are on CDC don’t travel list due to their levels of COVID infection. Even the US Virgin Islands are on that list.
Plus most countries require that you be both vaccinated as well as have a COVID test before going there. Plus you may have to quarantine when you arrive if one person on the plane tests positive, at your own expense.

Yup—pretty much. Flying wasn’t cheap before the pandemic, and it definitely ain’t now. [sigh]
