Next thing ya know there’s gonna are be vaccine mandates for children to go to school, or for people who want to travel to other countries, or for those in the armed forces.
Trying to protect the public health. How awful of Biden! What a bunch of hardheaded morons who refuse. They are getting the virus and dying like flies with the “I don’t want to and you can’t make me” attitude.
There are plenty of jobs out there, they keep saying that employers can’t find workers, now there will be plenty of workers who are not vaccinated willing to fill those openings. Mandates are just rules to try to stop the virus for the safety of all workers.
Unfortunately, Varvel has it wrong again. It’s not mandates making people leave the jobs, it’s the crappy pay, terrible working hours, and lack of benefits being offered by skinflint companies. vaccinated people see there are a lot better jobs out there for people who don’t want to risk their health.
Employers were experiencing worker shortages well before vaccine mandates. The oddest part is seeing US soldiers resisting Covid vaccine while they routinely had so many other shots if they were facing overseas deployment.
Vaccine mandates and the jobs market have very little in common. Anyone that leaves their job rather than get vaccinated, when they’ve already had at least 10 other vaccinations is an idiot.
2AndFour: The problem is that we’re having a pandemic that we would be done with if not for idiot anti-vaxxers, conspiracy nuts, and Trumpublican misinformation spreaders. Shut up, get vaccinated, learn to think, and go back to work.
I am completely in favor of mandates. Do your damn duty to the country, your family and friends and get vaccinated†, or JUST GO AWAY! The broad majority of us are DONE with the bull shift. 30% of the nation has clearly gone insane about this, and the OTHER 70% are out of charity with them.
And as for the metaphor? The vaccine mandates are not about jobs. They are about the whole society being able to resume something like normalcy. Jobs are PART of that, but they’re not even close to all.
† Unless you have a doctor’s signed statement saying it’s bad for you, and why. I personally believe that a “religious exemption” is a bad idea, but you might be able to make the case.
RWNJs and Trump Sycophants seem to have forgotten that the COVID-19 Denier-in-Chief said that COVID would “magically disappear!” ( Yet they continue to babble on… )
Anti Public Health Republican lying and denying killed 400,000 Americans and made covid intractable in the USA. Republicans hate to help people and would rather see them dead, is the lesson.

Varvel, doing his best to prove that conservative also means stupid. He’s wrong, I know it, but he tries so very hard.
Gary, it does no good to bring them back to work if they’re going to get sick, make others sick, and then, perhaps, die.

The Death Cult that Varvel belongs to doesn’t think 700,000 is near good enough number of dead. Striving for that 1,000,000 mark.

Actually the impact of mandates increases the number of possibilities for jobs, not decrease them.

Bless their little hearts. Me not we or thee. My “freedom” (exclusive to republicans/libertarians) not public health.

Joe’s a tool, all right. Just glad the polls confirm that the majority of Americans see it. Good luck in the midterms libtards.
