When I peeked at the thermometer I saw 29 and is going to get very warm today at 32 degrees. (hee hee)
As I said yesterday I’ll be getting my winter tires on today. It’ll be a little more shore footed in the white stuff. Except for that it’s going to be a regular day around the town and I’ll be alone because my nephew is headed for a scheduled doctor’s appointment at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH.
I have most of my Christmas cards done. I’m missing a few addresses but should have them today or tomorrow. Then all I have to do is buy stamps. Thank heaven that the majority of the cards I give are to other members of my church. We have a “mailbox” that we use at this time of year to exchange cards.
I went over to Wal Mart yesterday and bought a whole bunch of lights for the tree. Probably too many, but I can always return an unopened box.
My first visit to the new doctor is this afternoon. I am looking forward to meeting him. For the last few years I have been seeing a nurse-practitioner as my primary. I do not anticipate any surprises.
It’s another beautiful day in the neighborhood. The forecast high is 74. We got up to 75 yesterday and were able to keep the doors open for a while. The smoking neighbor stayed inside for a change.
Ah, Wednesday, again! We made our weekly Walmart run this morning. There were a few things that I absolutely needed and ended up spending more time in the store trying to find out where they were moved to. Even with the delays caused by having to search, we made good time and we’re home before 10 am. I do not like searching for things in Walmart and the new layout makes no sense. Even the employees have trouble locating things.
At least I have my purchases put away, now to do the laundry. (It sits in the basket and taunts me, daring me to throw it in the washing machine.) Hee hee hee, soon.
