Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning, Locos! Had I stayed where I had originally planned I would have seen 8.25 inches of rain fall in 24 hours! And the wave forecast at the Oregon beach has been upgraded to 40 foot waves. SOOOOOOOO glad to be home!
And it looks like all the rest of you are going to see a lot of weather with the possible exception of Akenta. A major storm has developed in Missouri and is moving northeast. The storm hitting the west coast is supposed to be moving across the county. So batten down your hatches!
As long as the storm doesn’t come through Tuesday afternoon/evening, I’ll be ok. We’ve got a bit of a drive ahead of us tomorrow. Glad you dodged the heavy stuff Luke.
Managed to keep our power. I slept in our basement apartment because Carmy gets scared when we have power outages. Our basement bedroom is underground so I heard nothing. LilG isn’t up yet so I do not know if it was windy overnight or not. Don’t see any wind now, but apparently it is windy in town. We are surrounded by mountains close to us so often we are spared wind, but still get power outages that hit us, but from more open areas nearby.
