Let’s see, the republicans agreed to “kick the can down the road” to December, at which time we will go through the same bovine excrement we’ve just experienced – so, in December, the political “right” wants this country to once again go through fears of ALL federal government employees, all federal military, all Medicare and Medicaid recipients, and ALL Social Security recipients for their “paychecks” – at the height of the 2021 Christmas season – oh, yeah, that makes a lot of sense, and for WHAT? So the republicans will have a “talking point” for the 2022 election.
Seriously?
If it wasn’t so stupidly dangerous, it would be laughable.

One idea, which will never pass: when we get close to the debt limit, an automatic tax increase on the top 10%, so we never go over the limit.

It’s not “Washington”, it’s Republicans.

A December shutdown is so much fun. The last one went from Dec 22 2018 toJan 25 2019 and really did a lot of good for the country/S
