Gee, Husband and I do 18th c reenacting and love it – but there is something about getting back into – at the end of an event – jeans and tee shirt instead of shift, pockets, stays, petticoat, jacket and apron that is rather relaxing.

And modern clothing is so much quicker to put on and off. Instead of less than 10 minutes to get up, dressed and up with modern clothing, it takes us half an hour and we need to help each other dress – mostly tie clothing ties which the other cannot reach – for 18th c clothing.
