At least Biden does do press interviews (particularly without helicopter background noise that drowns out his answers)… and his Press Secretary does hold press conferences (unlike Grisham)…

To be fair, it’s really not biden who is afraid of questions, it’s his staff. They’re afraid of what he’ll say, and who can blame them. So, they limit his time in front of the press, give him lists of who to call on (again, to be fair, that’s been the practice for many years) and even go as far as to cut his mic when he’s getting on a joe roll. Maybe joe is afraid of what staff will do to him if he doesn’t behave. No Ovaltine at bedtime?

to be fair, you don’t have to spend a lot of time worrying about how to field questions if you don’t, in fact, hold press conferences, as trump preferred. but i don’t want to rehash the past the way that republicans like to do…

Everybody knows how you should answer any and all questions:

“We have a plan that is ready to implement. It is bigly beautiful and incredible and better than anything the Democrats have even thought of. It’ll be ready in about two weeks.”

Or

“We’ll see what happens.”

I know it’s a rumor that’s going around… No, Biden is not getting “muted”. That was called a “press trickle”, where the media is let in for a few seconds to take pictures during what is mostly a private meeting.
