    No, it’s not Dean’s mom’s fault. Dean is Brent’s friend, not his mom. All she did was make an observation and ask a question.

    Also, I have to comment on the… metaphysical? Existential? Whatever— the irony of this situation. Yesterday, I posed a question about Dean’s reason for thinking that Brent would hate him for something so petty; I got some lazy answers, like “they’re just kids”, or “they’ve got hormones”, as if that means middle schoolers are completely incapable of reasoning anything out (good thing we don’t test them in school with increasingly difficult math, English, and science problems, right?). And here we have Brent commenting on how adults don’t always think clearly after he’s just reasoned what Dean should have done.

    So what’s my point? I dunno. Stuff your face with marshmallows I guess.
