First time Chad noticed that Gina is a girl, and he doesn’t know what to do about it.

Lol, poor Chad. This is actually a really interesting arc that examines the nature and motivation of Gina’s character. It gives her a choice between academic accomplishment and her crush, therefore forcing her to battle with herself over which means most to her. Considering the past few strips, Chad will probably win the election, and Gina’s reaction will no doubt show us which side of her wins that battle. But the way she actually says “May the best candidate win?” A while back, she was completely obsessed with superiority and anything that boosts her own ego. Now, though, she’s found something else that matters equally, if not more so. Her crush on Chad may be one-sided and even a tad unhealthy, but it’s character development, and anything that makes her reconsider her need to be The Best is a refreshing chance at Gina becoming a more likable character, and happier with herself because of it. So yeah, Chad doesn’t deserve all this unwanted attention. But I almost wonder if he puts up with it not just because of his bumbling, easygoing nature, but because he secretly knows that by continuing to tolerate her, he’s starting to save her from herself?

Guys I just wanna say this because I think it’s important… A friend of mine named Max, 11 years old, is dying from a deadly virus…. And the doctors say they can’t do anything about it and he will be dead tomorrow… I’m gonna say this under tomorrow’s comic too so everyone sees it.. He had so much of his life ahead of him but now, because of this stupid virus (I think he caught COVID-19, I don’t know all the details) he’s dying. So I just want all you antimaskers to know, Max and countless others are dying because you refuse to believe this virus is real. There are countless others like Max who need our support, and the least you can do to help is just notice how serious all this is. Oh, and I don’t want any trolls trying to make a joke out of this in the replies, because this is hardly something to joke about.
