Hi! I read comics like Big Nate and Big Nate: First Class.
I disagree. Mrs. Godfrey mainly mocks Nate mostly because he never really respects her or her class. He always rants about how boring social studies is, constantly turns in messy, unreadable homework if he even turns it in at all, never studies for tests nor takes them seriously, never pays attention to class and instead doodles as she speaks, calls her rude nicknames and draws offensive cartoons about her, THEN gets mad and accuses her of being unfair when she punishes him for what he does. Thus, Nate, at least IMO, is the bigger offender here.
My memory of writing this comment is very hazy (this comment was written back in 2017), but it’s probably because as Nate constantly antagonizes Mrs. Godfrey, I believed that it served him right to have his obsession with attacking Mrs. Godfrey mocked.
If anything, it’s Teddy who’s gotten sick.
Uh-oh! Nate’s obsession is contagious!
That’s a bit too far for even you, Nate.
OCD is quite complex and can come in a variety of forms — it doesn’t necessarily mean one needs to be organized. However, I still wouldn’t label what Nate is exhibiting as OCD anyway. He’s probably exaggerating or addicted to Cheez Doodles at the very most.
Like he ever would!
There isn’t anything more ominous than Coach John laughing.
Not in PS.38, apparently.
