I didn’t get the last load of laundry out of the dryer until after 5 yesterday. Between getting a late start, an extra load (Ren Faire costumes) and just plain procrastination, I took me a lot longer than usual. I got it done before I went to bed, though.
I heard from Mike this morning. He finally got the registration on his car done. He’s been having trouble getting it smog checked. Of course, it took getting a ticket for no valid registration to motivate him.
I bought all of the ingredients for the Chex mix the other day. I won’t start making any until after Halloween, but it is such a tradition in our family that we are all looking forward to it. (I put the stuff in the “garage” so I wouldn’t have to look at it in the meantime. LOL!)
I have a court date on Nov 1 for that battery charge from Oct. 2. As of today, the case is still open so it looks like I will have to go. I was telling the prayer group about it and the pastor joked that the prison ministry will be starting up again on Nov. 2. LOL!
We’re at 63 on our way up to 76 today. The AQI has dropped back down to 25. Weird.
Beautiful fall day. It started out at 45 and is now 57 and our high will be a comfortable 61 with bright sunshine. Overall it is a very quiet day with just the usual mundane activities.

45 on the old thermometer and cloudy, more clouds as the day continues with periods of rain.
Got my doctor’s appointment this morning, just the usual stuff, nothing to stand up and scream about.

Still enjoying Dave’s visit. We plan to take him out to dinner tonight to our favorite Chinese restaurant. Then tomorrow afternoon he flies home. :((
