I looked at the thermometer and saw 41, overcast and weepy the website says, but Gary just said rain possibly ending by the end of the day. Predicted high for today is 54. Yup, it’s fall.
Sounds like you have a good team on the ice. Is this a new franchise or did they come from another city? I’m not a Hockey fan but, if I was to fallow a team it would likely be the Bruins out of Boston although there are a lot of Montreal Canadians fans in the north woods.
I think we have finally recovered from the weekend. Plenty of sleep last night and no alarm clock. I even made it to prayer group on time.
We got our Publisher’s Clearing House goodie box in the mail today. Nothing earth shattering, but it’s always fun to open boxes like that.
I went over to one of the few remaining Christian bookstore/gift stores in the Valley this morning after prayer. I wanted to get a new large print NKJV bible and a cover for it. I found a good one with study notes and cross references all over the place, plus print large enough to see without squinting.
It’s a beautiful day outside. We’re at 70 degrees with clear skies. The AQI is creeping upward again, though. It’s at 40, up from 25 a few days ago.
They have taken Hot Bench off the air here! Bummer! I like it better than Judge Judy because of the collaboration of the three judges. Oh well. Maybe it will come back somewhere else.
A decent day here. It started out at 43 and overcast but soon brightened up and warmed up to 75. Overall not a bad day.
The family was over for dinner tonight. I tried a new recipe out on them and they all really loved it. Best of all it did not taste as salty as I thought it might. So we had pork loin roast, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, broccoli and salad. All that is left is about four slices of the roast.

Good morning, Vagabonds….
The trees here in western NC are turning color! A real fall season is a new experience for this former Floridian.
