    Good morning, Vagabonds…

No one is here so I’ll read the B & E comic strip…

Take out the milk bottles and enter the cat!

    Every night the same

“Eeneas, put out the bottles and enter the cat. Let the cat in and put the bottles out!”

    Tonight will be different!

    I’ll put myself out!

Wow! Does anyone else remember when we put the empty milk bottles out for the milkman? !!!

    Hi there Vagabonds

    Happy Thanksgiving. (^.^)

    In Canada that is.

Cloudy morning, temp mid 50s, cloudy all day high 68. Fine by me.

New avatar: The Gold Brook Bridge over the, of course, Gold Brook in Stowe, VT. All be it is one of the many covered bridges in VT, this one has a story. I’ve related this tale to you before, a story of a jilted girl who ether hung herself from the rafters of the bridge or hurled herself onto the rocks below the bridge. The story of course has not ended there, Emily has not left her bridge. According to the stories she inhabits the bridge and on occasion will scratch a man who walks upon her bridge. The time I was there I walked on the bridge but did get scratched, maybe she liked me.

Blessings for your day and may God be at your side.

    Good morning, Vagabonds and Shalom.

Our weather isn’t as drastic as some, but we are enjoying the fall so far. We’re looking at 79 today but we’ve got high winds and even through the closed draperies I can see the shadows of the trees moving.

Mike and I are going to the local Renaissance Festival on Saturday. Michael has declined to accompany us. I plan on going in full costume, and Mike wants to go through his stuff we have in storage and see how much of his he can put together. He knows his swords have disappeared, but other than that, the rest of it should be there. My costume is that of a middle-class merchant and his is a cavalier.

Then on Sunday, the three of us will be going to a hockey game. The Golden Knights are too crowded and too expensive, so we will be going to watch the Henderson Silver Knights (the Golden Knights “bush league” team). I’ve never been to a hockey game and both of my guys tell me that it is very exciting so I’m looking forward to it.

The housekeepers are due here around 11 so I’m doing the last bit of straightening so they can clean. Mostly these days, that means moving the bags of recycling out to the car.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

I awoke to high winds and rain this morning. It was 72 when I woke up and it has dropped to 63. The wind has the trees dancing like crazy.

The family will be here in a couple of hours for supper. I am glad I decided to make chicken noodle casserole, last week I was considering one more meal on the grill.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
