Hospital workers see this kind of thing all the time… I can remember working in the Spring when the clocks changed. It was nice to see the clock speed ahead one hour and know you’re that much closer to quitting time (we got 8 hours paid as part of the contract).
Not so much in the Fall – nothing like seeing the clock spin back one hour and putting in a 9 hour day. Of course, we got the 9 hours paid as well, but still, if you were tired then, going back an hour was a drag… ;-)

As an independent contractor, I once covered all 3 shifts in a week at a factory for a while.
