They all have gone to the birds. So has Garfield.

Since when did birds taste better than mice?

Northwoodser: Last time I checked it was fairly normal to eat chickens, turkeys and the occasional duck. I can’t remember the last time I ate a mouse or a rat.

So, I’m going to say birds have always tasted better.

Yes, but not for long, the end is near.

To double Northwoodser’s pain: it’s not at all unusual for cats to prefer birds (generally dumber) to mice (generally tricky).

So Garfield what are you doing? Eating one bird a day? Are you on a diet or something?

Go hide out with the mice little birdie. Garfield will never look there.

Where is Tweety when you need her?

Smack! Lick! Smack! Oooh, Garfield loves to eat the bird that tastes soooooo dangerously delicious!

By the way, my dear cat loved to eat quails Sighhhhhhhhhh! I never forgot about that! :-/ Good grief!

Where was Garfield when that little town in Hitchcock’s “The Birds” needed him?
