I heard commentary to the effect that, the reason the Supremes didn’t act to strike down the law is because it hasn’t gone before a court yet, which is so much chicken… salad.

Some months ago, I read that 27 states have laws on the books which gives rights about the unborn infant to THE RAPIST who caused the woman (girl) to become pregnant! I am not comfortable about a cavalier attitude toward abortion, but we males (many of whom simply walk away from their responsibilities) cannot imagine a life upturned so suddenly, completely and maliciously (especially if a brutal beating was included) by a sexual predator. Can any of you guys really imagine yourself in such a predicament? What if it was your teenage daughter, who otherwise had a bright future until assaulted by one of those creatures? I cannot fully feel like any victim, but even imagining it is horrid. Fortunately, I have not known any woman who was treated such, but only read about it far too often. Republican congressmen do not really believe their own rhetoric; they are only courting the votes!
