All jokes aside, the company email account/computer/company-provided phone BELONGS TO THE COMPANY! There is no Expectation of Privacy. The can do whatever they want with any Data on any device THEY own.
By the same token, they are also responsible for any data on those devices. As a “For Instance” if someone in the company is engaged in human trafficking (the current catch-all phrase for anything from smuggling aliens to child prostitution), the company has a responsibility to report it, which means they have to know about it. Your company email account, your browser history and habits, and the phone calls made on a company phone are all the company’s business. I’m currently typing this in a browser on my company’s computer. Technically, I could be censured for wasting my company’s (and their client’s) time and money. (Hmmm. Better get back to work, lol)

Illogical to assume that what you e-mail using equipment owned and maintained by others will somehow remain completely private…
