A lot of delivery drivers retired and there is a serious lack of drivers. Companies are offering huge hiring bonuses to drivers they hire. The 70 cargo ships waiting to get into the CA ports are unable to be unloaded. Bring back railroads! Some retailers/distributors are turning to shipping via air service, which adds a lot to the price of goods. I noticed this past week that the prices of items I have in my Amazon cart and wish lists have increased significantly.
