Just had a lady this week who called the director to complain that we turned the lights off after asking her politely to complete her purchases. We turned the lights off 10 minutes after our closing time and she huffed out shouting at us. Ahh, those Karens!!!
I always want to ask a reluctant-to-leave customer, “Please tell me where you work so I can come there and make YOU stay fifteen minutes after you the time you’re supposed to leave.”

I have run into that more than once. People can be exceedingly selfish.
