How much later, Mom? When the kid is in college?

Picasso’s “Guernica,” a moon rock, Dorothy’s ruby slippers, a flux capacitor, the Lone Ranger’s mask, The Pentagon Papers, and a martini — shaken, not stirred.

There are some real (at least real to her) treasures in the junk drawer.

cleaned out the junk drawer and never made another one. I put phone books and menus in that drawer. Now with new technology, that would be junk again.

I would be more than happy to go through that junk drawer and get rid of all that garbage for them…..

Just start a new drawer and seal that one up.

The most amazing thing to come out of this is that someone actually even contemplated cleaning the junk drawer…

I cleared all the weeds and ivy out of my new wife’s backyard and discovered all kinds of brickwork, steps, and a fountain. I half expected to find a Mayan temple. :)
