Yep, that’s right, at 3:21pm EST it’s Fall. Fall colors are already showing in the Black River Valley and all around the NEK.
My first look at the thermometer gave me a reading of 52 and it looks rather cloudy out there. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy today with a high of 75. Sounds like a fine Autumnal Equinox to me.
Did anybody see Crankshaft this morning? I think it’s very true, you need a good watchdog to keep the rest of the dogs from going amok and doing what they want. This one spoke so true to me that I posted it to FB.

We’re getting some nice fall colors, too. Lots of gold and yellow. No reds, like you have, Mark. We like driving thru the canyons and follow the streams and rivers to see the colors, we plan on taking Laura through one of them next week.
She brought her computer along and she’s been able to work like normal. Normally, she only goes into the office on Thursday, so she’s able to work from home. That’s why she’s able to visit so often.
A beautiful and crisp Autumn day. It was 50 when we went to Walmart this morning and our high was 57. Our leaves have not started to turn yet, soon. We were early going to Walmart this morning and I was able to get out in just over an hour. Then it was home and start the laundry. And that sums up another day.
