I think you know by now I don’t like to talk politics, but, sometimes I need to pop my safety valve. The forth coming rant concerns the southern border. I’ve read this on FB, watched videos on YouTube about refugees coming through the southern border. If the CDC is so terrified of covid why isn’t the border closed? Yet, the flow of refugees continues mostly unchecked. Talk about a super spreader.
Ah, I do feel better, thank you for letting me pop my cork, you can only take so much. (^.^)

The forecast is for 105 today, and it is 92 at the moment (9:30). Our AQI has fallen to 36, the best it has been in quite a while. The humidity is down to 6%!
The housekeepers come today. The company that employs them has been sold to new owners. We’ll see how that affects our service. The one thing I have asked of the new owner is to settle our schedule to a specific time instead of “sometime late morning”. The new owner wants us to put his app on our phones, but I am resisting. I don’t like a whole bunch of useless apps on my phone. Some of them run 100% of the time in the background and run down the battery too fast.
Frustration will out sometimes. I ordered a set of prosthetics for my post-surgery size difference. I got the box yesterday and inside of the completely undamaged and unopened shipping box, the box for the prosthetics was open and one of them was missing. They didn’t cost all that much, but it is the principle of the thing. I’ve already packed it up for return and refund. (And ordered another set from a different supplier) Now all I have to do is find a FedEx office around here somewhere.
I’m off to the recycling center and will look for that FedEx office on my way back.
Not much to tell here. Yesterday was busy. Church in the morning and all the family over for dinner. Now that school is back in session and with my grandson’s work schedule, family dinner floats to whatever night is available for all to attend. We had another sunny day and a high of 88. Hopefully we will have some rain later this week, we sure could use some. Not much else is going on.

Not much to tell here. Yesterday was busy. Church in the morning and all the family over for dinner.
