The Olympic folk are just following the lead that states like Florida have done.. COVID be damned, open up and accept a bit of collateral damage.

No need for the grim reaper to make an appearance. Yes, there are some positive tests and so far nobody has even gotten sick that I’m aware of. And none of these athletes are going to die from covid. Not even close.

That being said, I’m not sure the games should be held. The panic level is still too high, there are no fans in attendance and some results will be tainted by athletes not attending.
