We were married by a Justice of the Peace in my father-in-law’s living room. Our cat, Tiki, was “in attendance”, even though he scared everyone by diving out from under a table, leaping through the crowd & disappearing into a bedroom. A few years later, my husband & I hosted a wedding in our living room for a friend, and got the same JP. She remembered Tiki, and Tiki spent the entire ceremony lying by her feet.
