It appears that the sun is rising and shining in the valley. Once again the temp is 50 or maybe 51, the expected high is 69 possible showers this morning. A good day I guess.

Yesterday got up to 95 and today’s forecast is for 98. We usually end up a few degrees higher than the forecast, so we’ll probably hit triple digits again later this afternoon. It’s about 85 now.
Those very expensive headphone sets that we bought have been acting up. I have no idea what the problem is, and it is erratic and both sets. Sometimes my mic doesn’t work, sometimes his speakers don’t work, it makes no sense whatsoever. Michael suggested that perhaps since they are identical they are interfering with one another.
Today I have a blood draw at the cancer center in anticipation of seeing my lead oncologist next week. I was dumb enough to set the appointment for 1 PM, so I have to fast until then. I can’t tell you the longing I have for food right now! Michael baked some outstanding, unusual cookies the other day and I want one! Right now! (The cookies have oats, coconut and Rice Krispies in them and are delicious. It’s his mom’s old recipe.)
Other than the trip to the lab, not much is happening today. It’s too hot to do much anyway.
It was a pleasant and cool morning. The morning temperature was 61, so we opened the patio doors and a couple of windows to let in some fresh air. We were able to keep them open for about two hours before my husband’s allergies started. I think our high today was 88, but I forgot to check earlier. I truly am enjoying our cooler mornings and over nights.

It only got up to 79 yesterday, and it looks like it might reach 70 today. it should be nice and comfy.
we made a delicious shrimp and zucchini stir-fry for dinner last night. and tonight i planned stir-fry cabbage and kielbasa.
PT today, and rest after that.
