It’s a cool morning around here, 50 degrees, clear to high thin clouds. The high today 74 and generally cloudy and that’s about it.
Wow! September? Just last week I was becoming a puddle and trickling down the nearest drain. Now we are beginning to get into fall, the Autumnal Equinox is just half a month away. (0.0)
In other news, um, other news, huh, I don’t think there is any other news. (^.^)
well, it reached 79 up here yesterday. (wow, i found a word that i can type with only my left hand! can you tell me which one it was?)
my PT session went really well yesterday, too. she did an evaluation and poked and prodded and feels like my hip flexor was exasperated by a bulging disc. when she showed me the spine and groin chart, it makes a lot of sense. . so the 5 stretches i’m to work on DIDN’T hurt!!!! amazing!
Yesterday turned out to be 100 after all, but today is only supposed to be 91. It is still only 83 at 10:30 AM, so that’s a very good sign. We’ve had a few sprinkles, just enough to make the air heavy and sticky. Every once in a while the sun peeks out from behind the cloud cover, but for the most part it is overcast.
I don’t know if I’ve ever told you what we do with our recyclables. Our complex does not have a bin for them, but the university (UNLV) has a huge recycling center and it’s only a couple of miles away. So we collect everything for two weeks and on the day the housekeepers come shove all of it into the back end of the car and sometime that week take it over to the school. That turned out to be yesterday, and it was nice to have a relatively cool morning without the brutal sun to accomplish the unloading.
Today will be another quiet one, other than the laundry which is almost half done. The chimes on my dryer are so soft that even turned up all the way I cannot hear them from the rest of the house. So I keep a timer next to me as long as there’s something in the dryer. Saves on wrinkles and long delays.
We had a pleasant day here. It was 70 when I left for Walmart just after 8 am, I was running late this morning. I made it thru the store as quick as I could, the reset has made a real mess of the store. I just do the best I can and get out quick. I actually finished my laundry early today. The day stayed nice and our high was 82. The sky did become awfully dark this afternoon, but no rain came our way. That seems to be the highlights of my day. (•‿•)
