Very poor symbolism. The “NCAA” should be wearing a suit, not football uniform, and perhaps have some money spilling from a large briefcase or perhaps carpetbag.
it boggles my mind to think that the NCAA was supposedly created to ensure the “student athlete” remained an “amateur”. didn’t take long for the schools and the NCAA to take advantage of this. where there’s money, they’ll be people to take advantage of any edge. ’bout time the pendulum swings toward the athlete.
Bottom line here is that ALL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES should go back to the way college athletics started out – as a way to keep the student bodies healthy while attending classes, and ANYONE who wanted to participate COULD participate!
College “sports” has become the “tail” that wags the “dog”, and ANY institution of higher learning that thinks “sports” is necessary – well, that school should be forced to totally divorce itself from the “sport” in any financial way! Let’s see just how “necessary” that sport REALLY is!

Our taxpayer paid colleges are nothing but farm teams for the major leagues anyway. Take off the blinders, see things as they are.
