Anderson’s nay-sayer sees things as they are, but Biden sees things as they could be. To paraphrase a somewhat trite film line, “if we TRY to build it, perhaps all the intelligent, educated, experienced, rational citizens who are sick and tired of being politically and economically whipsawed, cheated, and victimized by the 1% and quislings of all political persuasions will clarify the writing on the wall for the GOP Leadershit.” History has ALWAYS been on the side of progress and, in far too many cases, not as quick nor as progressive as all might have wished, but, like grass through a cement sidewalk, it’s relentless and persistent.

Build it without them and bar them from use. I know it’s spiteful but spite is all they seem to understand.

If you go ahead and build it without any Republican votes, then the Republicans will just go ahead and brag to their constituents that all the good things are because of them.

They already did that with the Covid19 recovery legislation.

Not a single Republican Senator voted for it, but they are bragging about how great it is to their own constituents anyway!
