All my garden appliances (unfortunately doesn’t apply to spades, forks etc…) are powered from the same two batteries… When they’re exhausted… so am I… Perfect…

For any other non-Brits who never heard of “elevenses”…Wikipedia told me it’s “a short break taken at around 11:00 am to consume a drink or snack. The names and details vary among countries.”

Time always drags when doing something you’d rather not be doing. Like working!

LOTR introduced “elevenses” to the world. “Second breakfast” was made up for the movies.

Mr. Dear could always push elevenses back to ten and say “Lets pretend we are Americans and have tea now.”

As referenced above, I like the Hobbit meal schedule: Breakfast, Second Breakfast, Elevenses, Lunch, Tea, Dinner, Supper. A perfect day, with just enough time in between for Adventures! (Of course, you have to BE a Hobbit to avoid being a blimp on that schedule!)
