    Morning, Village!

We’ve gone a day and a half without rain. Maybe I can mow the grass this morning. The front yard anyway. The back yard is too soupy.

    Howdy Vagabonds

Sunshine on the leaves but some clouds in the sky. Current temps in the mid 50s and it’s going to try for 83 with some clouds. (^.^) Love it.

Headed out to Burlington this morning, just in and out. A good day for a ride.

I saw a recognizable gentleman on “Death Valley Days” yesterday by the name of Walter Burke, Highly recognizable Irish-American character actor whose small stature and wizened features made him resemble a leprechaun (a role which he played on more than one occasion). (IMDb) The title of the episode was “The Leprechaun of Last Chance Gulch” a funny western about a young Irishman who comes to a one horse town looking for gold and believes he’s found a Leprechaun (Walter Burke)

With that a good Irish blessing to you all and have a wonerful day.

    Good Icky morning, Vagabonds,

Still lots of smoke coming in from WA and ID. ID is really ablaze with fires! So nice of them to share. The good news was it only got up to 85 yesterday. Hooray!

I had my first ever TeleHealth doctor visit with my Neurologist. I really was great to sit down at the dining room table and see him face to face. The only problem was he couldn’t observe my walk that I am having problems with. So next time (November) we have to make the drive to Great Falls. Hopefully the trees in the canyon will be in full color.

    xoxo

Good icky morning from Nevada as well.

We are at a pretty high humidity level and just had a rain storm pass through. And the forecast is for 103 to go with it. Ugh!

I forgot to put the car in the carport yesterday, so I took advantage of the rain and went out with a rag towel after it stopped and wiped down the car. Good thing I did, too. It was a huge muddy mess. Then I put the car under the shelter. We have a large pine tree outside of our home that shades our parking spot most of the time. The only problem is that it sheds. A lot. So not only was the car muddy, but it had piles of pine needles in the recess for the wiper blades.

I finally got the last of Mom’s photos sorted and scanned. I bought a bunch of flash drives (again) and am sending copies to the rest of the family. This is the last of it, thank goodness. It has been fun, though. Living in the past can be rewarding at times.

Next up? I think probably the last of the new drapes so we can put away the tools. A lot of the things I would like to do involves ladders and hanging stuff, including those drapes. It’s a very high window. Not big, just high up on the wall. It’s also a very short window (21" high) so I will have to hem the drapes once I can take their measure on the wall. But that’s a project for another day….

Oh yeah, I did go over to the storage unit and looked for the spoons to put on the racks we’ve already hung. Of the four sets of shelves over there I have now identified and fully cataloged 3 of them. The fourth is hidden behind the stuff Mike is storing in there and I can’t reach it, so guess where the spoons are…

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

Our big outing of the day was to go to the Farmer’s Market this morning. Along with the fresh veggies I picked up a large jar of local honey. Yum. I was running a little later than I preferred, and it was already 91 when we got there. And the humidity was already in the 70’s. Next time I need to get out the door a lot earlier!

May you all have a wonderful evening.
